A First Look at the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

With a classic profile, a sturdy engine, and luxurious standard features, it’s easy to see why the 2024 Mercedes C-Class is wowing drivers and critics alike. This luxury sedan at your Mercedes dealer has fantastic fuel economy, a spacious cabin, and amazing performance specs.

The C-Class sedan has two trim levels this year. Both the C-Class C 300 and C-Class C 300 4MATIC have a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which produces 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. This sedan can go from zero to sixty in roughly six seconds. The maximum cargo space for both models is 12.6 cubic feet.
Both trim levels have safety features such as blind-spot alert, driver attention assist monitor, collision warning system, and traction control. Each sedan has child seat anchors and child door locks as standard features. Drivers can upgrade to an optional surround view camera for better visibility.

C 300

This trim has rear-wheel drive as the standard drivetrain, which is paired with an automatic transmission with hill start assist and stability control. Key standard features include adaptive headlights, alloy wheels, power-folding mirrors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Other standard features include a remote start engine, remote keyless entry, proximity-sensing keyless entry, and push-button start. This trim also comes with Bluetooth for streaming audio, a hands-free phone, and a voice recognition system.

C 300 4MATIC

This trim has a highly capable all-wheel-drive drivetrain that enhances the overall handling of the sedan. Some of the standard features of this sedan include a smartphone interface, navigation system, touchscreen monitor, a remote liftgate, and heated mirrors. In the cabin, you can find standard features such as a folding rear seat, dual power front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering wheel controls, and a rear window defroster.

What Is the Warranty for a New C-Class?

When you purchase a new C-Class sedan, you will get the benefit of the Mercedes-Benz new vehicle limited warranty. This warranty will cover the cost of repairs for craftsmanship errors and mechanical defects, as well as corrosion perforation and the powertrain. This warranty lasts for 48 months or up to 50,000 miles. Exclusions for this warranty include wear and tear parts, such as motor oil, brake pads, and windshield wiper blades.

Should You Ask Your Mercedes Dealer About Pre-Paid Maintenance?

If you want to save money on the cost of common maintenance, such as oil changes, then you might want to purchase a pre-paid maintenance plan. This plan works by setting a baseline price for routine maintenance, which Mercedes recommends once a year or every 10,000 miles.
